March 16, 2022 – UMF Medical announced that Chris Rogers has joined the company as Director of Operations. Rogers will lead the manufacturing operations to achieve production goals and increase efficiencies as the company continues to grow and scale its manufacturing capacity.
With more than 23 years experience in manufacturing and production, Rogers has successfully developed and implemented world-class Lean manufacturing systems. He plans to help grow the company by reducing costs, optimizing performance and increasing profitability.

Rogers most recently served as Vice President of Operations at a large-scale manufacturer (JWF Industries) in Johnstown, PA, where he was responsible for leading a diverse workforce, ensuring customer satisfaction, and consistently seeking product, technology and customer opportunities for improvement and growth.

Rogers worked previously as the Value Stream Manager for Veeder-Root in Altoona, PA. There he managed all processes of two internal factories. During his tenure, his team received the Best Plant and Most Improved Safety awards in 2016.

Rogers also previously worked as a Focused Factory Manager for Kennametal in Bedford, PA, and a Manufacturing Manager with General Cable in Altoona, PA. Early in his career, he worked as a Manufacturing Engineer/Production Supervisor at Veeder-Root.
