July 30, 2020 – Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA) released the Thermo Scientific nProber IV nanoprober platform, a fault isolation system used by semiconductor fabs to precisely locate and characterize the nanometer-scale electrical faults that impact device performance and reliability.
The nProber IV is the most advanced of Thermo Scientific’s leading nProber systems, the company says. It provides greater levels of automation and precision for semiconductor yield engineers as they perform leading-edge and mid-range logic and memory failure analysis.
The company says that the new nProber IV platform is its “easiest-to-use SEM-based nanoprobing solution to date, extending nanoprobing to more users while giving them the data required for a fast and efficient fault analysis process.”
