May 4, 2022 – SE Healthcare, a company dedicated to advancing healthcare practices, is pleased to announce its partnership with the American Nurses Association (ANA) which will allow their members access to SE Healthcare’s innovative burnout prevention program. The partnership program kicked off May 1, timed for national nurse’s month.
The nurse burnout crisis is real. According to recent studies, nearly 80 percent of intensive/critical care nurses are experiencing feelings of exhaustion, and more than half are feeling overwhelmed. SE Healthcare’s burnout prevention program gives nurses immediate, 24/7 access to a video coaching series on real-world challenges they face.
SE Healthcare’s web-based platform — the Enrichment Center — offers educational content and skills-based tools to prevent career burnout. The Enrichment Center houses a collection of videos and audios and includes 22 contact hours. The content focuses on the most common stressors for nurses and offers targeted mitigation tactics, culminating in the development of a personal burnout prevention strategy. The assessment tool informs the personalized program and assesses how nurses and organizations compare to national averages. Topics include burnout pathophysiology; improving teamwork and collaboration, efficiency; work-life balance; managing one’s feelings after an adverse outcome; diversity, equity and inclusion; and meditation/guided imagery. The program aims to coach individuals to change simple behaviors.
Successful intervention for nurse burnout can result in improved personal wellness, reduced errors in the field, improved patient satisfaction and safety, lower turnover, higher quality of care, and an increased sense of well-being.
“It has been more than two long years since COVID-19 became part of our lives, and the strain on nursing and the profession is profound,” said ANA CEO Loressa Cole, DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN. “In far too many instances, nurses are impacted by burnout to some extent, and ANA wants to help our members by making a great resource easily available.”

ANA members can take advantage of this exclusive and valuable benefit on May 1, 2022, with complementary access to the Enrichment Center through August 31, 2022, if registration occurs by June 30, 2022.
