August 8, 2022 – RWJBarnabas Health’s Vice President of Business Development, Meg Stagliano, RN, was named President of the New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (NJAASC), effective immediately. Stagliano, who will serve a three-year term as president, was also elected to the association’s board of directors.
NJAASC is a non-profit organization comprised of nearly 200 ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), working to advance the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care for its member organizations. The association provides educational and networking opportunities, advocacy on key issues, and guidance on the latest legislation and regulations impacting New Jersey ambulatory surgery centers.
NJAASC is the fourth largest state association representing ASCs in the country.
As VP of Business Development at RWJBarnabas Health, Stagliano oversees clinical services and operations at more than 26 surgery centers across the system. In addition to these responsibilities, she also serves as president of the New Jersey State Ambulatory Surgery Society. Prior to joining RWJBarnabas Health, she held multiple leadership roles at Seashore Surgical Institute and worked as a consultant with NJASC Consultants.
