June 27, 2022 – QuidelOrtho announced that Mike Abney will assume the role of President, North America Commercial, effective July 1, 2022.
The company says that Abney brings extensive diagnostic industry knowledge to the task of enabling both Quidel’s and Ortho’s North America sales, service and technical teams in raising the standard of diagnostic testing by supporting the company’s clients’ customers and communities in the moments that matter most.
QuidelOrtho was formed from the combination of Quidel Corporation and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics at the end of May. Both Quidel and Ortho continue to operate independently, business as usual; with their current distribution agreements remaining in place per their existing terms and conditions.
