July 13, 2022 – eVideon, a leader in interactive patient engagement and digital workflow solutions, announces a new partnership with Northwell Health, the largest healthcare provider and private employer in the state of New York. Recognized for the third year in a row as one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For®, Northwell Health is committed to leveraging innovation to raise the standard of care and elevate the experience for their patients, families, workforce, and communities.
Through this partnership, Northwell will start using eVideon’s Vibe Health platform at North Shore University Hospital in Q4 of this year. North Shore University Hospital is a level one trauma center that serves as the primary teaching hospital for the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Using Vibe Health Engage TV and Vibe Health Insight digital whiteboard, the platform will integrate with the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) to provide a uniquely personalized experience to patients and their loved ones throughout their stay while also streamlining clinical workflow to enhance the clinician experience.
“Creating an interactive future state that improves information access, simplifies clinical workflows, and personalizes the care experience is a priority at Northwell Health,” said Sven Gierlinger, SVP and Chief Experience Officer at Northwell Health. “We are excited to partner with Vibe Health by eVideon to propel forward our vision for the ‘Hospital Room of the Future’ which provides a common access point to the information, entertainment, concierge, environmental, and educational needs of our patients and their loved ones while in the hospital.”
By partnering with eVideon, Northwell Health is giving patients, families, and clinicians a modern, tech-enabled experience that promotes continuous innovation and supports the goals and priorities of the health system. The Vibe Health platform will integrate with other installed technology to create an immersive and inclusive care environment. Via the smart TV, patients can access best-in-class entertainment as well as educational content tailored to their individual preferences, age, condition, and language. Further, patients can submit requests for items or services to appropriate departments, bypassing the nurse call button and allowing nursing staff to focus on clinical care.
“Northwell Health’s unwavering dedication to creating personalized, seamless experiences is evident and exciting,” said Jeff Fallon, CEO at eVideon. “We are thrilled to be their chosen partner to advance their vision and help them continue to raise the bar for both patient and staff experience through our industry-leading smart room technology platform.”
