February 18, 2021 – The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) has appointed Michael Ayotte as SVP of pharmacy, transformation and advocacy.
In this role, Ayotte will lead NACDS’ advancement of state pharmacy scope-of-practice and operations, and opioid abuse prevention in the state regulatory and legislative arenas.
Most recently, Ayotte founded and operated Prestige Partners Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm. Prior to that, he served CVS Health for 30 years in the capacities of CVS Pharmacy supervisor; director of government affairs; senior director of government affairs; head of state and local government affairs; and ultimately VP of state and local government affairs.
