June 21, 2024- Mayo Clinic is launching “Tomorrow’s Cure,” a new podcast that will highlight medical innovations transforming healthcare and feature the visionaries who make them possible. “Tomorrow’s Cure” is brought to listeners in collaboration with PRX, a Pulitzer and Peabody Award-winning public media organization and one of the world’s top podcast distributors. “Tomorrow’s Cure” debuts on June 26, and new episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays.
Seasons: The first season comprises eight episodes, with seasons two and three set to resume in early 2025.
How to listen: The podcast is free on all significant on-demand audio platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music. Episodes will also feature a video component, which can be viewed on Mayo Clinic’s YouTube channel.
The show is hosted by Cathy Wurzer, a renowned broadcaster, journalist and author known for her work on Minnesota Public Radio’s Morning Edition and Twin Cities PBS. Wurzer will conduct in-depth interviews with experts from Mayo Clinic and industry leaders. The episodes will emphasize the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and inspiring possibilities.
