July 16, 2024- William “Bill” Barefoot, aged 81, passed away on July 8, 2024, in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on February 1, 1943, Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He had an award-winning sales career working for Stuart Medical then Owens & Minor for over 40 years. He was known by many as the godfather of medical distribution in Western PA and WV. His legacy has helped pave the way for sons Kevin, who is a Partner at MTMC and his other son David, who is currently a territory manager for Flexicare Medical.
Bill was a man whose life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures. His love story with his wife, Patricia, spanned over 70 years, beginning in their youth and blossoming into a marriage of 58 years.
