May 10, 2023 – The Healthcare Supply Chain Association announced the Supply Chain Leadership Summit, an event designed to foster greater collaboration between supply chain stakeholders. The three-day event, which takes place from October 3-5, 2023, will bring together leaders from across the healthcare supply chain to network, discuss best practices and current challenges, and evaluate strategies to build a more resilient supply chain.
“The Supply Chain Leadership Summit is an opportunity for supply chain stakeholders to come together and address the issues that are affecting healthcare providers and patients today,” said HSCA President and CEO, Todd Ebert. “We look forward to hosting an event that is focused on strengthening the healthcare supply chain through collaboration, transparency, and innovation.”
This year’s summit features speakers from federal agencies, trade associations, academia, and other fields, including:
- Dawn O’Connell, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), giving the opening keynote address
- Michelle Hood, Executive Vice President and COO of the American Hospital Association (AHA), leading a discussion on current and future hospital dynamics
- Lawton R. Burns, economist and Professor at the Wharton School of Business, presenting research on the evolution of the healthcare supply chain
- The HSCA Board of Directors hosting a panel on GPO executive leadership
- Leading healthcare GPOs sharing original research
