August 5, 2024- Eric Swaim, vice president of strategic sourcing at HealthTrust Performance Group, has been honored with the prestigious 40 Under 40 award by Healthcare Purchasing News (HPN). HPN’s inaugural 40 Under 40 program recognizes professionals in the healthcare industry who are making a significant contribution to their organizations.
HealthTrust Performance Group is a leading performance improvement organization for healthcare with 25 years of supply chain excellence serving hospitals, health systems and providers across all care settings. Swaim oversees HealthTrust’s surgery and med/surg distribution portfolios along with aspects of the radiology portfolio representing $9 billion in annual spend. He is responsible for sourcing operations including the financial analysis team, and directs the organization’s supply disruption strategy, focusing on resiliency through data transparency and technology. Swaim holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management from Auburn University.
