March 17, 2023 – Hamilton Endoscopy & Surgical Center, an ambulatory surgery partner of RWJBarnabas Health, has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2023. The distinction recognizes facilities that have excelled in providing outpatient care based on quality of care, performance data and peer recommendations. For the first time, ambulatory surgery centers from all US states were included in the survey. Over 500 facilities have received recognition from Newsweek out of nearly 5,000 Medicare-certified ambulatory surgery centers throughout the nation, with 30 centers in New Jersey receiving this award.
Hamilton Endoscopy and Surgery Center is an advanced, accredited ambulatory surgery center designed to provide superlative care, convenience, and safety for all patients. The state-of-the-art 6,600 square-foot Medicare-certified outpatient facility is ideal for patients who do not require a hospital stay following their endoscopic procedure such as an upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, or other gastrointestinal procedure. The outpatient facility is typically staffed with up to 16 medical professionals, which includes gastroenterology specialists, a full-time board-certified anesthesiologist, certified nurse anesthetists, experienced licensed registered nurses, and medical endoscopy technicians.
