November 12, 2021 – Garnter has released it’s 13th consecutive annual ranking of the top 25 leading healthcare provider supply chains.
In this year’s report, the Gartner Healthcare Supply Chain research team highlights only U.S. health systems. The company says that “moving to a solely U.S. health system ranking for 2021 reflects the growing supply chain maturity across the healthcare industry.”
The 2021 ranking are based 65% on community opinion and 35% on quantitative data. Community opinion comes from Gartner experts and peer voters and takes into account the specific capabilities that improve human life at sustainable costs. Quantitative data comprises a health system’s IBM Watson Health Score and Bond Rating.
The report profiles each system and explains how industry groups can use the list to maximize success.
