June 2, 2021 – Excelerant Consulting, LLC (Scottsdale, AZ) announced that industry veteran Lowell Church has joined as the group’s newest partner.
The company says that Church brings a vast understanding of the complexities and intricacies of group purchasing organizations (GPOs), integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and supply chain.
Church spent the past two decades as Vice President of Supply Chain for a large, west coast IDN system where he managed Procure-to-Pay (P2P) services, including sourcing, procurement, supply chain, value analysis, data analytics, and accounts payable. Additionally, he oversaw biomedical clinical engineering and a large affiliate program. Church’s unique affiliate program added 96 acute-care hospitals and 2,300 non-acute delivery systems that generated $110 million in net revenue over 10 years.
Church spent 18 years on the Premier, Inc. GPO Strategic Advisory Committee, gaining an extensive understanding of GPOs and establishing trusted relationships with supply chain executives at many of the major IDNs. Church also has experience as a registered Central Supply Technician and Nursing Home Administrator and was deeply involved in the design and construction of two major hospitals.
