August 25, 2020 – Excelerant Consulting (Scottsdale, AZ) announced that Bill Stewart has joined the Excelerant team as Partner.
Stewart brings more than 20 years of experience working in medical devices, having held positions in sales, marketing, and national accounts. He has extensive experience developing relationships with senior leaders at health systems and has led contract negotiations with national and regional group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
Prior to joining Excelerant, Stewart spent more than 20 years at Johnson & Johnson in a variety of roles, ultimately becoming an area VP, Value Based Purchasing, where he worked in areas in which reimbursement was disrupting care such as migration to outpatient and bundled pay. Before Johnson & Johnson, he served five years in the U.S. Army, mainly as an Infantry leader in the 82nd Airborne Division.
