In the case of these five additions, physicians chose to join Consensus Health based on the many benefits they receive from being part of a larger medical group model. These advantages include, but are not limited to, participating in value-based programs to demonstrate the benefits of improving population health outcomes; gaining access to various administrative support services; utilizing various technology platforms and enhanced turn-key practice processes; and, gaining a greater voice when dealing with contracting across many areas of the business. Furthermore, and perhaps most importantly, being part of Consensus Health Medical Group affords member physicians clinical autonomy. This is of major importance to independent physicians as the key reason they practice autonomously is to ensure they retain their abilities to focus on the patient and make the best decisions with regard to their care plans.
