October 22, 2021 – CommonSpirit Health’s (Chicago, IL) has named Ron Yolo, DNP, as chief nursing officer for its newly formed Southern California Division.
In this new role, Dr. Yolo will be responsible for the nursing enterprise of 18 Dignity Health hospitals and will support the achievement of the system’s high-priority goals in safety, quality, population health, patient experience, employee relations, and community engagement.
CommonSpirit Health was formed in February 2019 through the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (Chicago, IL) and Dignity Health.
Dr. Yolo has held multiple leadership positions at Dignity Health (San Francisco, CA) prior to his recent role as chief nursing officer at Dignity Health-Glendale (Glendale, CA). Throughout his career, Dr. Yolo has led numerous projects, including chairing the development of CommonSpirit Health’s National Nursing Vision.
