January 10, 2024- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Jan. 8 announced 23.6 million consumers have signed up for a 2025 Health Insurance Marketplace plan. Of that total, approximately 3.2 million are new consumers. This number represents 11.6 million more enrollees compared to the 2021 Open Enrollment Period. Open enrollment continues until Jan. 15 for the 31 states that use HealthCare.gov and most state-based marketplaces for coverage beginning Feb. 1.
