March 17, 2021 – CME Corp (Warwick, RI), the largest equipment-only distributor of healthcare products in the U.S., has announced a new contract with Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) (Florham Park, NJ), the country’s largest alternate site group purchasing organization (GPO) for the healthcare market.
This two-year contract with MHA provides equipment solutions and services for members including long-term care pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, home medical equipment providers, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
The contract, which began Feb. 10, provides MHA members with distribution from CME’s industry-leading catalog of equipment, with more than 2 million products from over 2,000 manufacturers. In addition, CME gives customers its unique “white glove” services delivered direct-to-site, fulfilling needs from start to finish, including receiving, inspecting, warehousing, assembling and installing.
The contract also includes biomedical and technical services such as routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
