May 12, 2021 – CME Corp (Warwick, RI) has announced a contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) that is expected to involve more than 10,000 product lines from over 25 manufacturers during the next year alone.
The signing marks another major agreement for CME with the federal government, the company said.
CME already is fulfilling a portfolio of contract offerings, including a $49.5 million pact in 2020 with the Department of Defense’s Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for hospital equipment and accessories for use by The Department of Defense, The Department of Veterans Administration and Indian Health Services, a Federal Supply Schedule agreement and a separate DLA distribution and pricing agreement (DAPA).
The new five-year GSA contract, with three, 5-year options, provides urgently needed products, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ultraviolet disinfecting systems, workstations on wheels, furniture, and storage solutions.
CME offers clients access to a catalog of 2 million products from 2,000 manufacturers.
“We also look forward to providing our unique direct-to-site white glove services to meet the GSA’s needs from start to finish, including receiving, inspecting, warehousing, assembling and installing,” said K.C. Meleski, CME Vice President of Sales.
