CME announces expansion of multi-million dollar agreement with Vizient

September 2, 2022 – CME Corp, the largest equipment-only distributor of medical products in the U.S., is pleased to announce an expansion of its multi-million-dollar contract with Irving, Texas-based Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven, health care performance improvement company in the nation, serving over 5,000 health system members and their affiliates, including 1,360 acute care hospitals.

Under the agreement, goods and services will be delivered to a fifth Vizient aggregation group, Myriadd Supply Network, LLC, based in Tacoma, Washington, with major health systems and their affiliates in five Western states: Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, and Montana.

CME previously announced its pact would provide equipment, logistics, and technical services for Vizient groups Cooperative Services of Florida, Southeast Collaborative, Vanderbilt Health Purchasing Collaborative, and West Coast Purchasing Coalition.

The three-year contract is enabling over 50 large health systems, and several hundred affiliates, across the country to secure significant cost savings and quality services through CME’s best-in-industry services and Vizient’s leading aggregation solutions that accelerate return on investment (ROI) through the power of scale.

“This key addition to the contract will give the health systems in the Myriadd network access to CME’s unrivaled expertise in providing savings and efficiencies on medical equipment and deliveries throughout Myriadd’s service area,” said Don Boone, CME’s director of national contracts.

“When CME’s direct-to-site, white glove delivery services are combined with Myriadd’s focus on offering vibrant, expanding health care, these health systems now have a tremendous advantage in the Northwest U.S. marketplace,” added Boone.
