June 20, 2024- Sarah Vogler, M.D., has been appointed Chief of Staff for the Florida market, effective June 19. Dr. Vogler had been serving as interim Chief of Staff since February 2024. Dr. Vogler oversees the Office of Professional Staff Affairs in Florida and will be responsible for overall clinical performance, including safety, quality and patient experience standards.
Cleveland Clinic’s Florida market includes five hospitals – Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Martin South Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital — in the south Florida area and Treasure Coast.
Dr. Vogler joined Cleveland Clinic in 2019. She served as vice chair of operations for the Department of Colorectal Surgery and section chief of Pelvic Floor Disorders at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus in Ohio. She is board-certified in colon and rectal surgery, and general surgery.
In 2021, Dr. Vogler joined Cleveland Clinic’s Florida market as associate chief of staff and regional director of colorectal pelvic floor care. She has held several leadership roles, including president and medical director of Cleveland Clinic Florida Integrated Health, (an accountable care organization), physician director of surgical operations, and physician champion of physician alignment and service line profitability.
