Cardinal Health, IMCO Inc., HCA Healthcare, and more honor Veterans

November 11, 2024- Veterans Day is recognized each year on November 11 to honor those that have served in the U.S. military and armed forces. Cardinal Health, IMCO Inc., Medline, and many more companies within the medical industry took a moment today to recognize America’s Veterans.

Cardinal Health stated in a press release, “Veterans Day is a time of joy and celebration. It is an opportunity for communities to come together and express their gratitude. However, this day is also a time for solemn reflections, to acknowledge the hardships and sacrifices faced by veterans. Moments of silence, wreath-laying ceremonies, and visits to veterans’ memorials are somber reminders of the cost of freedom. These acts of remembrance ensure that we never forget the price paid by our veterans.”

IMCO Inc. posted to LinkedIn, honoring Veterans and the “brave men and women who have served our country with unwavering courage.”

HCA Healthcare was recently named “Best Employer for Veterans” by Military Times, for a fifth consecutive year, according to a November 11 press release. The healthcare organization stated, “HCA Healthcare has a long history of supporting veterans and their families through their transition to the civilian workforce. In 2011, HCA Healthcare joined the Veteran Jobs Mission as an inaugural employer member, and committed to the coalition’s goal of hiring 100,000 veterans by 2020.”

Medline, in a press release, stated, “This year, M-VET (Medline Veteran Engagement Team (M-VET), an employee resource group) “Operation Outreach” to amplify all that it offers: veteran resources, mentoring, panel discussions, networking opportunities and monthly coffee chats on topics such as suicide prevention and disabilities.
