October 14, 2024- Baxter International’s Employee Support Center has continued to provide critical assistance to its North Cove colleagues, according to a recent LinkedIn post. The center is open daily to distribute food, water, toiletries, generators, laundry and shower facilities, support from its HR team, and other essential supplies to its employees, many of whom have experienced significant property damage due to Hurricane Helene.
Baxter International stated in the post that the company is thankful to the North Cove colleagues who are staffing the Employee Support Center every day and its Batesville, Ind. team, who dispatched the company’s fleet to bring several truckloads of supplies to Marion.
Baxter also has installed a temporary rock bridge to allow for transportation in and out of the site, and the company expects a second bridge will be installed by the North Carolina Department of Transportation soon, according to a MedTech Dive News Update.
