April 14, 2021 – The Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) announced today that its annual Conference and Business Exposition will be held in Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Resort June 6 – 8.
The conference, which the FAH says is widely regarded as one of the health industry’s leading health policy events, features leaders in government, the business community, and the media, as well as participation by those who manage on a day-to-day basis the government programs that are critical to the industry.
“The FAH conference was one of the last healthcare industry events to take place before the pandemic put all large gatherings on pause. This year we are proud to be one of the first to once again welcome guests. But it is important to note that every precaution will be taken to ensure the health and safety of attendees,” the FAH said in a press release.
“Our members have fought valiantly against COVID for more than a year and they remain on the frontlines. The relationships developed at this meeting are at the core of making sure caregivers have timely access to the resources necessary to treat patients and for personal protection,” said FAH President and CEO Chip Kahn. “We are doing everything possible to make sure attendees are protected. Our staff has worked closely with the team at the Gaylord Opryland to develop a comprehensive COVID-related plan following best-practice guidance – all of which will be implemented throughout the conference.”
